New client win: Social Housing Action Campaign (SHAC)

Oh we do love a new client win! We’re mega excited to announce that we’ve partnered up with The Social Housing Action Campaign (SHAC) – the only national campaign group fighting for justice for housing association tenants and residents.

SHAC is a network of tenants, residents, workers and activists in housing associations and cooperatives and we’ve been following them closely for a while now – so we’re pretty damn happy to be working with them.

As the campaign partner for SHAC, If Not Now will be working on their new campaign calling on housing associations to freeze rents, cap service charges and refocus their efforts on providing quality housing that meets the needs of their tenants.

With mounting pressure faced by housing association residents, who are grappling with rising rent and service charge costs, SHAC aims to highlight the urgent need for change in the housing sector.

As you all know, If Not Now is committed to making a positive impact on society through our creative and strategic campaigns. With our background in successfully creating bold social campaigns that drive results, we’re buzzing to take on this challenge of developing a creative campaign that will serve as a rallying call for action to exert pressure on housing associations that prioritise profit over the well-being of their tenants.

By putting their residents at risk of further hardship, these housing associations have strayed from their core mission of providing affordable, safe, and secure housing.

But we’re helping SHAC to change this.

And we know we’re biased, but the campaign is looking *chefs kiss*…

Keep an eye on our socials for the campaign launch in the coming weeks and ways you can get involved.
