Our climate is changing.
An election is coming.
This year, young people have been putting climate on the agenda through global strikes, marches and all-round badass activism. Yet almost a THIRD of 18-30 year olds in the UK aren’t registered to vote.
That’s MILLIONS of climate-concerned young people who won’t get to have their voices heard on the issues that matter to them most.
And this is, without a doubt, a climate election.
For the last 3 weeks we’ve been working hard to help put together a campaign to galvanise the 2 million young people who care about climate to register to vote before 26th November.
INTRODUCING…
#ItsOurTime, our new campaign to mobilise the under-30s to use their vote in the upcoming general election.
#ItsOurTime is an open campaign, galvanising everyone to use their influence, creativity and networks to reach unregistered voters wherever they are: on social networks, on the streets, at university and in their communities. There is no sign off. No client. Different platforms, brands and creatives can make it their own.
The aim is to support a creative explosion around the #ItsOurTime #MakeClimateCount hashtags through social content, events, stunts, print, PR and partnerships.
Expect to see #ItsOurTime on billboards, social media feeds, and across the country, powering the biggest climate/youth election of all time.
WANT TO GET INVOLVED?
It’s our time to use our creativity for change.

SO, WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?
The science is clear, the clock is ticking.
We have 10 years left to save ourselves from the worst effects of climate change, and the government that we vote in could be in power for 5 of them.
It’s up to us to make sure that it’s a government ready to treat this like an emergency, ready to put meaningful policy in place to protect the most vulnerable. It must be a government that recognises that everything we hold dear as a country: our democracy, industry, education… our NHS; is intrinsically linked to the choices we make around climate change.
It’s time to think differently, and thanks to the great work of others who have fought for years before us, those ways of thinking are ready to be enacted. A circular economy, regenerative farming, environmental education in schools. It’s all ready to go.
We must not sleepwalk off of the cliff – the consequences of climate change are coming for everyone and it will be the most vulnerable who suffer first and fastest.
We must be brave. For the people we love, for the children that will follow us and for those who have given up their lives in the fight before us. We must have courage for ourselves, because we are worth saving.
We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.
Be someone who tried.
